24 Hours of Moab

Quite possibly the best 24 hour race of the season is set to take place this weekend in Moab, Utah. Granny Gears' 24 hours of Moab has an awesome course and a huge field of competitors. The event manages to turn a huge desert meadow into a complete mountain bike city for the weekend.

The 24 Hours of Moab are not only a fun event to participate in, but there is some great spectating as well. It's a great event where most of the competitors don't enter to win, but just to be there. Look for plenty of costumes and other antics on the course and in the pits.
