SUGOI RSX NeoShell Jacket
Described as “the world’s most breathable waterproof cycling jacket, the mountain bike specific RSX NeoShell® jacket features taped seams, 100% waterproof and 99.9% windproof protection, with active air exchange, and provides twice the breathability of traditional membranes. A relaxed fit offers room for the added volume of baggy mountain bike apparel worn underneath. The RSX has pockets on the jacket’s sides so you can still make use of them when wearing a hydration packs. As the mountain is often a car ride away from home, a detachable hood--something I wish my rain jacket offered!--keeps you dry anytime you wear the jacket off the bike. Simply stow it in one of the zippered side pockets when you put your helmet on. The RSX NeoShell Jacket will be available from mid-January in Red or from mid-July 2013 in Cyan or Black color options. Priced at 379,00 €.
Raleigh Rushhour 7.0 30-G XT
Not exactly a mountain bike, but a good bike nonetheless—especially for touring. Raleigh says the Rushhour 7.0 30-G XT is ideal for long tours in hilly or mountainous regions, which sounds right up my alley. Featuring 30-speed Shimano XT gears and XT hydraulic disc brakes, this bike should perform well on steep terrain and while fully loaded with overnight gear. Riders can lockout the air fork from their handlebar. A powerful 80 lux LED front light with headlight and stand light is standard.
Frame: Trekking 1.5, aluminum; Gears: Shimano XT; Fork: Verso III, magnesium with air spring, lockout operated from the handlebar; Brakes: Shimano XT hydraulic disc brake; Lights: Concept EX Pro, 80 lux LED with stand light and daytime running light, rear light: B&M Toplight Line, with stand light; Tires: Schwalbe Marathon Supreme, 37-622
FOCUS SAM 1.0
With 160mm of suspension travel, the Focus SAM combines all-mountain and downhill qualities. Because of that, it’s not categorized as either an “all-mountain” or a “downhill” bike, but rather a “super all mountain.” Focus says the bike is ideal for Transalp, bike park and Enduro races. The SAM has 27.5" wheels, a double-butted head tube, twin bearing system, chainstay-mounted front derailleur and 142 x 12 mm floating axle. It also features internal cable routing, a drive-neutral chassis, ISCG 05 (chain guide) and a post-mount brake retainer. It’s the first in a new generation of full-suspension bikes from the manufacturer.

Thule RaceWay bike rack
Thule’s new rear mounted bike rack, the RaceWay, is a quality bike rack that offers an ideal vehicle fit and a carrier cable lock. The RaceWay’s narrower arm distance helps to fit the many styles and shapes of modern bikes. A patented FitDial makes fitting the carrier to your car a breeze—simply locate the fit number that matches the car model in the Thule fit guide and adjust for an accurate angle. The Raceway utilizes a newer locking ratcheting cable system, instead of the more common nylon straps to secure the carrier to the car. A fully foldable design makes storage simple. Available in both a two-bike and three-bike hanging version.
Additional features include molded rubber pads for a firm hold to vehicle and scratch protection; and patented No-Sway™ cages to prevent vehicle contact.
Schwalbe MAGIC MARY
The Magic Mary from Schwalbe features an intermediate tread, making it the all-rounder in Schwalbe's Super Gravity series. Braking traction and curve grip is possible on slushy, muddy ground due to shoulder studs and an aggressive, open tread design. An innovative carcass design based on motorcycle tire technology is used in the Super Gravity mountain bike tire series. This means the layers overlap at the side walls instead of under the tread. Laterally stable and puncture-proof while also responsive. Featuring a light 1,045 gram weight, Tubeless Ready with a pure SnakeSkin version optional. Magic Mary will be available in bike stores beginning September 2013 in sizes 26, 27.5 and 29 x 2.35. Priced at 59.90 €.
