Sunglasses are an important accessory to a mountain bike ride. They may not help you over that log, but they sure will keep dirt and dust out of your eyes so you can attempt to do just that. I recently got my hands on a pair of Smith PivLock V90s--and have noticed a big difference in the way I see the trail. What I haven't noticed are the uber-light sunglasses on my face.
