Do You Need Rear Suspension

Sunday January 6, 2008
One of the biggest decisions you need to make when looking at a new mountain bike is whether you want rear suspension or not. While most mountain bikes have front suspension, not all have rear suspension. For any given component level, the addition of rear suspension comes with a significant increase in price.

There are lots of things to consider besides cost when making the choice such as where you want to ride, what type of trails you like, and how efficient you want your bike to be.

Check out our guide to full suspension or hardtail and let us make your decision a little easier.
