Interbike Update
The weather for the demo days was perfect, so there were lots of people getting out on lots of new product, but I have to say, there was little new and exciting stuff see.
So far, the new Trek Fuel EX suspension system looks like it has greatly improved what has been for years a pretty poor performing system. It rides well, and I hope to get out on one for a real test in the spring.
Pivot Cycles has definitely had a real buzz around it as well, some would say more than any other mountain bike company this year. It's a new company from Chris Cocalis, formerly if Titus Cycles. I did all of the 3D design work on the frames, so I'm super excited about how it all came out, and no, I'm not just plugging it here because I'm involved, it really is big news here.

Yeah nothing new and exciting. No news of a belt drive by Carbon Drive Systems, no new products like Crank Brothers first wheel, no real cool bikes for dirt cheap like the Marin 29er or Redline Monocog. You’re right, you should have stayed at home writing more incredible “about” articles.
