Lift Accessed Riding

Thursday June 22, 2006

The funny thing about lift accessed riding is how strongly some people seem to feel against it. I have to admit I was a little skeptical about the whole thing myself, then I gave it a try.

Don't get me wrong here. I've been riding lifts for a few years now and I still spend more time pedaling up the hills than I do going down them. But really, does it matter. Mountain biking has become so diverse that there are riders now who hardly know what its like to pedal more than a few strokes at a time. The fact of the matter is, fun is fun, and however you do it is up to you. Is it really any different than riding a ski lift in the winter?
