Looking for Some More Skills?

Wednesday May 31, 2006

When it comes to getting better at mountain biking, there is no substitute for time on the bike. The more time you spend on your bike the more skills you develop and the more confidence you build.

I could have sworn years ago, that I really couldn't get any better. I felt I had hit my own unimpressive plateu. Really, I didn't have a clue what I was talking about. I had just become complacent. I had stopped trying new things, stopped challenging myself. Now, I see endless possabilities, endless ways to ride a bike, and endless ways to get better.

So if you think you've hit your limit, wake up, try something new, ride with better people and open your mind to other types of riding.

For some help, we have a great Tips & Techniques Section with all sorts of resources to help you become a better mountain biker. We just added a new link to Bikeskills.com, they have some great online how to videos, hands on clinics, and other content.
