Just Getting Started?
Getting started in the sport can be a little scary for some people, but with a little help and preparation it doesn't have to be. We have an entire section devoted to Beginners & Basics including a great Before You Ride Basic Skills Workshop.
Just some quick advice: A lot of mountain biking is about confidence. Take your time to get comfortable with riding your bike. Let your confidence build up at it's own pace and make good decisions about what trails to ride. Never be afraid to walk something you don't feel confident that you can ride. And finally, build up a good healthy level of confidence, then try pushing your boundries at a safe pace.
