Riding Wet Trails

Friday January 6, 2006

Riding in wet conditions can be a lot of fun, but is it really OK? When the conditions are bad, It can be a big source of trail erosion.

Mountain bikers have a responsability to avoid riding when it may lead to trail damage. Although necessity dictates that in some regions of the world, the trails must simply be built to handle both wet and dry riding conditions, most trails and soil types don't mix with wet riding.

Read our Wet Trail Guidlines and learn when its OK to ride and when the trails are better left alone.
