Brian Head NORBA - Day 2

Saturday August 6, 2005

The second day of the Norba National at Brian Head, Utah, was unfortunately much like the first. The day started with Non-Pro Dual Slalom practice and qualifying, as well as the Beginner/Sport and Pro/Semi Pro Downhill practice. The Semi Pro/Jr. Expert Men, Jr X Men 18 & under, Jr. X Men 16 & under cross country races started just as the rain started.

Props to the XC racers who slugged it out in the rain for hours in, thanks to mother nature, what must have been one of the most gruelling races of the year.

Once again, the Experts were denied Downhill practice, and the Non-Pro Dual Slalom Finals were moved to Saturday afternoon, weather permitting of course.
